Terms of service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in any coaching sessions, programs, materials, or communications offered by Colleen Murphy, doing business as Centered Money® (“Coach,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any service, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms in full.

1. Scope of Services

Centered Money® provides educational financial-coaching services designed to help clients improve awareness, habits, and decision-making around money.
Services may include individual or couples sessions, workshops, digital content, and follow-up materials.

Coach is not:

  • a physician, healthcare provider, therapist, attorney, accountant, tax preparer, or licensed financial advisor.

  • providing medical, psychological, legal, tax, or investment advice.

All information shared is for educational and coaching purposes only.
You agree to seek licensed professionals for any medical, legal, tax, or investment matters.

2. Client Responsibilities

You acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for all personal, financial, legal, and health decisions.

  • Implementation of ideas or strategies discussed is entirely at your discretion.

  • Results are dependent on your individual circumstances and actions; no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

3. Payments and Refunds

  • Payment is due in full at or before the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Multi-session packages must be used within the period stated at purchase.

  • Refunds: Because coaching involves time reserved exclusively for you, payments are generally non-refundable once sessions begin. Requests for partial refunds may be considered at the Coach’s sole discretion in cases of documented hardship or program cancellation by the Coach.

  • Failure to pay in full may result in suspension or termination of services.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, may be forfeited without refund.

  • The Coach reserves the right to reschedule for illness, emergency, or unforeseen conflict, with as much notice as practicable.

5. Confidentiality

All information you share during sessions will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except:

  1. as required by law (e.g., if there is risk of harm to self or others or a valid court order), or

  2. with your explicit written consent.

Electronic communications (email, video, text) are not guaranteed to be completely secure; you accept this risk when engaging in online services.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, tools, templates, videos, writings, and brand elements provided through Centered Money® remain the exclusive intellectual property of Colleen Murphy.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only.
Reproduction, resale, or distribution without written permission is prohibited.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • Coach makes no representations or guarantees about results, income, or outcomes.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colleen Murphy / Centered Money® shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your participation, use of materials, or reliance on information provided.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Colleen Murphy / Centered Money® from any claims, losses, or damages related to your decisions or actions following coaching.

8. Referrals and Third Parties

From time to time, Coach may provide referrals to outside professionals or resources. These are offered solely for convenience and do not constitute endorsements.
Coach receives no compensation for referrals and assumes no responsibility for services rendered by any third party.

9. Communication and Boundaries

Coaching is professional in nature. Support between sessions is limited to the channels and frequency described in your package.
Urgent or crisis situations should be directed to appropriate emergency or professional services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with written notice.
Client remains responsible for payment of all sessions or packages completed or in progress up to the date of termination.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within that state and jurisdiction.

12. Entire Agreement and Modification

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Coach regarding services and supersede all prior communications.
Coach may update these Terms at any time; continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Acknowledgment and Consent

By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any Centered Money® service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Disclaimer, and you voluntarily release Colleen Murphy / Centered Money® from any and all liability consistent with these provisions.
